The most popular trail is the trek to the Benog Bhukri top, which offers mesmerising panoramic views.
If you’re a wildlife enthusiast, you’re in for a treat! Here, you will get the opportunity to spot the elusive Himalayan goral, barking deer, and other species of flora and fauna. Camping at Benog is also highly recommended, and there are select campsites within the sanctuary that allow you to spend a night surrounded by nature's tranquillity.
For bird lovers, the sanctuary is a paradise, boasting over 200 species of avian residents and migratory visitors. You can spot several exotic and Indigenous birds, including the red-billed blue magpie, mountain quails, White Capped Water Redstart, the iconic Himalayan monal, and the colourful Khalij pheasant. Don't forget to pack your binoculars and your best pair of walking shoes!

Benog Wildlife Sanctuary offers a complete Himalayan experience with its outdoor activities and proximity to popular hill stations like Mussoorie. The ever-popular hill station of Mussoorie is just 15 km away, while the picturesque Kempty Falls is a short drive away. Lal Tibba, a scenic meadow and viewpoint located at an altitude of around 7,463 feet, is 25 kilometres from Benog Hill Peak. From Lal Tibba, you can enjoy panoramic views of the mighty Himalayan ranges. You can also visit Dhanaulti, a quaint hamlet surrounded by dense forests and apple orchards, located 35 kilometres from Benog.
