A tapestry of heritage and culture

Spread across 12 acres is a haven that seamlessly blends the rich cultural tapestry of Tripura with the pristine beauty of nature. The Heritage Park beckons visitors with its miniature wonders, lush greenery, and a harmonious fusion of tribal and non-tribal heritage.

Mini Tripura: A glimpse of wonders

Within the park’s three-acre entrance, visitors encounter a delightful showcase of Tripura’s marvels. Miniature replicas of iconic landmarks await exploration:

Unakoti sculptures

These ancient rock carvings, numbering in the thousands, depict gods, goddesses, and mythical creatures. Each chiselled face tells a forgotten tale, etched into the sandstone by skilled hands centuries ago.

Neermahal palace

A floating palace on Rudrasagar Lake, Neermahal evokes the romance of a bygone era. Its delicate arches mirror in the tranquil waters, inviting visitors to imagine royal feasts and moonlit dances.

Ujjayanta palace

The regal abode of Tripura’s erstwhile kings, now a museum, stands in all its architectural splendour. Its white walls guard secrets of dynasties, while the manicured gardens whisper stories of courtly intrigue.

Stone relics of pilak, mahamuni, and chandrapur

Ancient remnants that whisper tales of forgotten civilizations. Weathered pillars and broken idols evoke a sense of timelessness—a bridge between past and present.

Natural forest: Where flora and fauna thrive

Wander deeper into the park, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by indigenous trees, exotic flowers, and preserved wildlife. The air hums with cicadas, and sunlight filters through leaves like golden coins.

Stone statues and monuments

Each tells a story—of resilience, tradition, and the land’s spirit. The stone elephant, its trunk raised in greeting, reminds us of ancient rituals and reverence for nature.

Earthen potteries

Craftsmanship at its finest, these vessels connect us to Tripura’s roots. The potter’s wheel spins tales of sustenance, of hands shaping clay into vessels that held life’s essentials.

Wood carvings

Admire intricate carvings that celebrate the region’s craftsmanship. Wooden panels depict mythical creatures, intertwining vines, and the dance of seasons.

Medicinalp plant table top: Healing from nature

At the park’s highest point, discover a tableland adorned with medicinal plants, herbs, and shrubs. Here, science meets tradition, and healing blossoms in every leaf.

Learn about local remedies and the healing properties of native flora. The neem tree, guardian against ailments, stands tall. Turmeric, ginger, and aloe vera thrive, ready to soothe and cure.
