On your second day, nature takes center stage as we embark on a journey to the enchanting Yumthang Valley, often referred to as the "Valley of Flowers." This breathtaking paradise is home to the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, where over twenty-four species of rhododendron, Sikkim's state flower, paint the landscape with vibrant blooms during the flowering season. On your final day in Lachung, we explore more of the region's natural wonders. We begin with a visit to the Bhim Nala Waterfall, considered one of the highest in Sikkim. This three-step waterfall's roar can be heard from a distance, and the cascading waterfalls create a stunning visual as they fall straight from a great height. The refreshing water splashes can be felt by visitors, and the waterfall is surrounded by verdant hills, making it a picturesque destination. We conclude our journey with a trek to Mt. Brumkhangse, known for its imposing and surreal location in North Sikkim. The expedition involves negotiating avalanche-prone zones and trekking toward the base of the peak.
