Shravani Mela: During the month of Shravan (July-August), the Baidyanath Temple hosts the famous Shravani Mela. This month-long festival attracts millions of devotees from across India. Pilgrims, known as Kanwariyas, undertake a rigorous journey on foot from Sultanganj, about 108 kilometers away, carrying holy water from the Ganges to offer to Lord Shiv. The mela is marked by vibrant rituals, devotional songs, and a sea of saffron-clad devotees.
