The gateway

Termed as the land of “Blue Hills and Red River” Assam is the gateway to the north eastern states and has been aptly described as the sentinel of Northeast India. Seven Indian States and two countries Bhutan and Bangladesh, surround Assam which is also close to India's international borders with China and Myanmar. Nature has ungrudgingly blessed Assam with an abundance of scenic grandeur. Moreover, during season flock of resident and migratory birds make Assam their natural habitats.

Dibru-Saikhowa National Park is a national park in Assam, India. It is located in Dibrugarh and Tinsukia districts.Famous for feral horses, clouded leopard, Gangetic dolphins, water buffalo, birds etc

Arrive Mohanbari Airport at Dibrugarh, then drive to Tinsukia ( 47kms, 1hr 30min drive). Check into a resort on arrival. Explore the local areas site seen on a short trip to see the water dolphins amidst the setting sun over river Dibru and halt (the trip will depend upon the time of arrival).
