Begin your one-day Vizag tour with a visit to the awe-inspiring Simhachalam Temple. As the name suggests, Simhachalam, meaning lion hill, the sacred place of worship is perched atop the hills of Simhachalam Konda.

Must see: A chariot driven by horses.

For your next stop, visit the revered Ramanaidu Film Studio to gain insight into the stories of legendary stars. The studio's key attraction is the Museum of Cinema, which houses various movie-making equipment including halogen lights, ultrasonic cleaners, winders, and silent cameras.

Things to do: Look for photo galleries of various Tamil, Telugu and other famous artists like Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna and Jeetendra.

Don't miss out on the breathtaking Rishikonda Beach, nestled along the Bay of Bengal. Its crystal-clear turquoise waters and pristine white sand, embraced by lush green hills, create a perfect paradise. There's plenty to do, from swimming and scuba diving to snorkelling, jet skiing, and windsurfing.

Things to do: Enjoy the delightful views of the waves crashing against the white sandy soil.

Must see: The forty-foot-tall image of Lord Shiva.

Afterwards, experience the tranquillity and immense beauty of Tenatti Park, facing the picturesque Bay of Bengal. It's a fabulous place to relax and enjoy splendid views!

Travel back in time and get introduced to the rich history and culture of the port city as the tour takes you to the famed Visakha Museum, which accommodates a rich collection of artefacts.

Must see: Scorpene class submarine Kalvari.

Continuing the exciting journey, the tour takes you to the revered Kali Mata temple, located just 2 km from RK Beach. This magnificent temple was constructed in 1984 with a strong foundation reaching eight feet below the road level.

Must see: The Lord Shiva Temple next to the Kali Mata temple, which houses the rasa lingam, carved out of a single stone weighing 10 kg.

Another prominent sightseeing spot of the city is the famed Ramakrishna Beach. Maintained by the Municipal Corporation of Visakhapatnam and Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority, the long beach lies facing the Bay of Bengal.
