The Bird Park isn't just about the stunning setting! Get ready to meet a fascinating cast of feathered characters, each one with its own unique charm.
Prepare to be dazzled by a vibrant array of birds. Tiny green avadavats and red avadavats flit through the foliage while the blue-breasted kingfisher showcases its stunning plumage. Witness the flightless wonders – the emu and ostrich – towering over other birds. Step inside a kaleidoscope of colour – the parrot house! Here, a mesmerising collection of parrots awaits, each boasting their own vibrant personalities. Admire the flash of red-winged parrots, the impressive size of superb parrots, and the playful chatter of Senegal parrots.
Keep an eye out for the elegant sulphur-crested cockatoo with its distinctive yellow crest. Spot the tiny blue-breasted quail scurrying amongst the foliage, or watch the red-billed firefinch add a splash of crimson. And don't miss the elegant fowls or the majestic blue and gold macaws, their feathers boasting a stunning display of azure and gold. The park also offers a glimpse into the nocturnal world. Look for the elusive barn owl, the spotted owl with its camouflage plumage, and the rare Eurasian eagle owl, a true predator of the skies.
