Designed to delight
The garden’s architecture seamlessly blends Mughal and Rajput styles. As you wander through its eight sections, you’ll encounter intricate marble fountains, ‘chhatris,’ and mirrors adorning the walls of the Govind Deoji temple. The main fountain, ‘Parikrama,’ carved from a single marble slab, captivates visitors. Inside the temple complex, delicate ‘panni’ work embellishes the Garbha Griha.
A sacred confluence
Kanak Vrindavan is more than just a garden; it’s a spiritual haven. Legend has it that the Maharaja planned an Ashvamedha Yagna here, collecting waters from sacred rivers. The temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, Govind Deoji, stands as a testament to this sacred spot. The water within is considered holy, and the temple resonates with devotion.
