The circle of life

Bang in the heart of Jaipur, Jawahar Circle stands as a testament to urban planning and natural beauty. This circular park, developed by the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), has become a cherished leisure destination for both locals and tourists.

Jawahar Circle proudly claims the title of Asia’s largest circular park. Situated along Malviya Nagar near Sanganer Airport, this sprawling green expanse offers respite from the bustling city. With a diameter of 452 metres and a circumference of 1,420 metres, it’s a haven for nature enthusiasts and fitness aficionados alike.

The enchanting fountain show

At the heart of Jawahar Circle lies a mesmerizing water fountain. Every evening at 7 PM, the fountain comes alive with a symphony of water sprays choreographed to music. Illuminated by coloured lights, this spectacle captivates visitors. The water screen, 27 meters wide and 9 meters high, showcases music videos—a delightful blend of art and technology.

A getaway from the city

The entrance to Jawahar Circle is through the vibrant Patrika Gate. Adorned with intricate visual designs, this gate is a photographer’s delight. Each panel tells a unique story, celebrating Rajasthan’s rich heritage. Visitors can’t help but marvel at the riot of colours and craftsmanship.

The scent of joy

As you stroll through Jawahar Circle, you’ll encounter lush rose gardens and tall trees. The fragrance of blooming roses fills the air, creating a serene ambience. These well-maintained gardens provide a picturesque backdrop for picnics, family outings, and leisurely walks.

A place for fitness and recreation

Fitness enthusiasts find solace here. The park boasts jogging tracks, an open gym, and ample green space for yoga or meditation. Families can spread out on the grass, enjoying quality time together. Children have their own play area with swings and slides, ensuring everyone finds their happy spot.

Promoting environmental consciousness

Given Rajasthan’s arid climate, maintaining large gardens and fountains with drinking water would be impractical. Jawahar Circle takes an eco-friendly approach by using recycled water. While safe for the garden, the fountain water isn’t suitable for drinking or bathing.
