Lamsial Puk lies hidden amongst the rugged terrain near Farkawn village and is shrouded in mystery and amazement. This extraordinary cave, perched atop an enormous rockface, tempts visitors into exploring its depths with curiosity. As soon as you step inside this astonishing place you are met by human skulls and bones carefully preserved for centuries -- an eerie reminder that time cannot erase these ancient remains' stories!
Dating back approximately 300 years, the origins of these bones remain a fascinating mystery. Who were these individuals, and why are their remains here in this cave? For whatever reason, no answers to such questions have ever been forthcoming from history; one widely held theory suggests they could be remnants from Lamsial Village; an erstwhile settlement once flourishing here when Mizos first started to settle along Tiau River as a border marker with Myanmar.
