Anant Krishna Vaidya and Ambadas Krishna Vaidya established Shri Hanuman Akhara in 1914 in Amravati, Maharashtra; since then it has become an epicentre for bodybuilding and wrestling activities. Our organisation is honoured to partner with the Shree Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal, which has been approved by Maharashtra government and linked with Amravati University. The Akhara is a non-profit and voluntary organisation dedicated to improving physical and mental skills of its practitioners and encouraging them to reach their highest potential. Modern Indian wrestling was profoundly shaped by Guru Hanuman a revered figure in Indian wrestling circles.
