A treasure hunt through time
Panna National Park is more than just a haven for wildlife. Hidden amidst the lush greenery and rugged terrain, you'll find intriguing rock art that offers a glimpse into the lives of the ancient Gond tribes who once called this region home. These prehistoric paintings, found in caves and rock shelters, depict scenes of hunting, dancing, and daily life. While the exact meaning behind many of these artworks remains a mystery, they offer a fascinating connection to the past. The local tribes still hold these paintings in reverence, believing them to be the work of spiritual beings.
