Muthyal Maduvu is a beautiful picnic spot located at the edges of Bengaluru. It is also known as the Pearl Valley and this place is 5 kilometres away from the Anekal and 40 kilometres away from Bengaluru. 

As you approach Muthyala Maduvu, the first thing that captures your attention is the soothing sound of cascading water. The valley gets its name, "Pearl Valley," from the milky white droplets of the waterfall that glisten like pearls as they descend from a height of about 92 meters. This natural spectacle is a feast for the eyes, especially during the monsoon season when the waterfall is at its most vigorous.

Muthyala Maduvu is a haven for outdoor activities. The surrounding hills and forests offer numerous trails for trekking enthusiasts. A popular trail leads to the top of the waterfall, providing panoramic views of the valley and the distant cityscape of Bangalore. Bird watchers will also find delight in the rich avian life that inhabits the area, with species like the Indian Roller, Kingfishers, and various types of parakeets often making an appearance.

The valley is also an ideal spot for a leisurely picnic. The Karnataka Forest Department has developed basic amenities, including seating areas and viewpoints, to enhance visitors' experience. You can pack a picnic basket and enjoy a meal amidst the verdant surroundings while the sound of the waterfall provides a soothing background score.
