Stokes Farm, in the quaint hamlet of Thanedar, is a testament to apple cultivation. Thanedar, known as the prime apple belt of Himachal Pradesh, is a mere 20-minute drive from Narkanda.

Samuel Satyanand Stokes, an American who migrated to India, painstakingly planted this orchard, revolutionising apple production in Himachal Pradesh.
