Experience devotion and reverence
As you step into the temple, your gaze is drawn to the serene sight of a white-coloured idol of Maa Gayatri seated gracefully on a white swan. To her left stands the idol of Maa Savitri, while to her right, you'll find Maa Kundalini. Glance upward, and you'll be captivated by the painting of Trimurti adorning the ceiling – depicting Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Mahesh amidst a celestial panorama of stars and galaxies.
Participate in the special aarti at the temple or engage in other sacred rituals within its precincts, with a profound sense of devotion. Annually, on the temple's foundation day, a special Annakut celebration is organised where a variety of sweets are prepared and offered to the deities.
The best time to visit Gayatri Shaktipeeth is in October or November during the grand Dham Yatra festival for a pilgrimage to the sacred places of Dwarka. You can also participate in the Janmashtami celebrations, honouring the birth of Lord Krishna. This celebration takes place in August or September, inviting devotees and visitors to enjoy cultural performances and partake in fasts, midnight prayers and religious processions.
