A natural haven for deers

Hidden within the lush landscapes near Vasona Lion Safari, the Satmaliya Deer Park is a treasure trove of natural wonders and rare wildlife. A sanctuary to rare deer species, including the Chinkara, Blackbucks, and Spotted Deer, it offers a peek into the serene life of these gentle creatures. An early morning visit to the park, particularly during feeding times, offers an enchanting sight as the deer gather in groups near the main gate or road for their meal.

The incredible wildlife sanctuary

A remarkable feature of the park is its diverse antelope population. Beyond the deer, the park is a haven for other wildlife, including sambhar, chital deer, and black bucks. A machan, or watchtower, located near the park's water hole, provides a panoramic view of the sanctuary and the captivating Madhuban Dam, a sight that promises to leave a lasting impression on every nature enthusiast.

Birds and stories of the park

The Deer Park is not only home to deer but also hosts a variety of bird species. From the vibrant peacocks to the melodious thrushes and the vibrant flame-back woodpeckers, the park is a paradise for birdwatchers and photographers.
