A walk through time: the museum's collection
Step inside and discover a collection that tells Diu's story. You'll find ancient stone inscriptions left behind by rulers, offering a glimpse into the island's past. Carved wooden objects, some dating back 400 years and crafted from fossilised wood, showcase the artistry of bygone eras.
The museum also houses a variety of religious artifacts. Find statues of Christ and Virgin Mary, collected from nearby churches, alongside marble statues of St. Benedict and St. Thomas. Look out for interesting items like shadow clocks, ingenious timekeeping devices used in the past.
