A legacy of scientific wonder
Srikrishna Science Centre holds the distinction of being Bihar's only regional-level science centre and India's inaugural science centre, as it pays homage to Bihar's first Chief Minister. Situated on a tranquil lane southeast of Gandhi Maidan, this captivating centre invites visitors to discover scientific principles within a beautiful garden setting. As soon as visitors step through its entrance, their first encounter is with a vibrant display board featuring rotating windmill blades of an older windmill prototype, dino calls echoing through the air and an interactive sundial that tells time based on sun position - an experience unlike anything they will encounter elsewhere!
An exploration beyond imagination
Srikrishna Science Centre enchants visitors with three floors of scientific exploration. On the ground floor is Fun Science Gallery which showcases equipment demonstrating various scientific principles in action - mesmerising energy balls to organ pipes playing melodies or an exhibit defying gravity all come alive and provide moments of amazement and discovery!
Enter the first floor, where mirrors refract optical illusions, ocean life reveals its secrets, and human evolution allows for reflection. Engage with floating balls or investigate vortices - science will come alive in ways both engaging and educational!
On the third floor, prepare to be amazed by the birth of life on Earth! Through exciting demonstrations and astonishing exhibits, you will witness its remarkable evolution over time. Don't miss the mesmerising 3D show; an unforgettable experience that runs every two hours.
Beyond exhibitions, the Srikrishna Science Centre features additional facilities like a workshop, conference hall and auditorium that serve as platforms for scientific discussions, educational programs and community engagement - enhancing visitors' experience of this centre even further.
