A salute to undefeated heroes

What can be more inspiring than tales of valiant warriors safeguarding their country at any cost. The Victory at Sea Memorial is an honest effort to commemorate such warriors of the Indian Navy and Eastern Naval Command. Established in 1996, this monument exemplifies their courage and dedication in safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity. During 1971 Liberation war when Pakistan attacked Visakhapatnam Port with submarine PNS Ghazi and targeted aircraft carrier INS Vikrant directly, the Indian Navy succeeded in deterring it and emerge victorious. Located at Beach Road, Visakapatnam, the beautiful beach-side setting of this memorial, with gentle waves crashing on the shore, is sure to amplify your experience.

A timeless legacy preserved and celebrated

Victory at Sea Memorial pays a fitting tribute through showcasing the artefacts of a glorious time. Behold models of missiles, tankers, and fighter planes which played key roles during the battles. Marvel at the meticulously maintained artefacts from the T-55 tank that served during World War 2 to the RZ 61 missile used during rehearsal of Republic Day parade. Experience moving artefacts such as historical tanks that once battled on the Indian shores. Get intrigued by the technological advancements of a time replete with military significance. Standing among this solemn tribute can be both stunning and humbling, reminding us of those who have selflessly defended the nation's freedom and sovereignty. Come take a fascinating journey into India's military history at this incredible museum.
